Balchem, a global manufacturer of specialty ingredients for human nutrition and health, will be exhibiting at Vitafoods Europe as the official sponsor of “Premium Ingredients for Premium Athletes.” At the company’s booth, it will showcase its portfolio of solutions for everyday athletes who view nutrition as fuel for daily performance and long-term vitality. Visitors can also sample multi-functional product concepts.
The company will also share a sneak peek of two new offerings coming to the European market: StabiliPro, a portfolio of excipients for probiotics, and Optifolin+, a choline-enriched, patented, bioactive folate (L-5-MTHF) which supports prenatal and women’s health, as well as key areas of healthy aging, such as heart, cognitive, and epigenetic health.
Evolving Active Nutrition
To help brands engage in the broader trend of sports nutrition products expanding to support everyday athletes, Balchem will share the latest research on its branded ingredients, including: a post-exercise recovery study on K2Vital suggesting it offers neuromuscular signaling support in older adults; a study on VitaCholine suggesting benefits on brain network efficiency post-menopause; and a trial suggesting that OptiMSM can deliver post-exercise recovery benefits at a dose of one gram daily.
Balchem’s experts will be on hand to discuss its bioavailable portfolio of Albion Minerals, with a focus on MetaMag magnesium bisglycinate. The team will also showcase Creatine MagnaPower, a combination of creatine and magnesium that offers muscular performance benefits. The company will also discuss how its minerals can be used to fill in nutritional gaps in GLP-1 companion products, supporting exercise performance, recovery, and healthy aging.
Visitors can also learn more about Balchem’s K2Vital partnership with the FC Bayern Women’s soccer team and the VitaCholine sponsorship of the New York Jets. These partnerships can provide customers with powerful co-branding opportunities. The company will showcase finished products with partners including Ghost, Vantage, Liebscher & Bracht, and Body Kitchen.
“We’re excited to be back at Vitafoods Europe, showcasing how we’re constantly evolving our portfolio to help our partners respond to evolving wellness trends such as active nutrition, healthy aging, and GLP-1,” said Dominik Mattern, vice president of science, business development, and marketing. “In Europe’s highly regulated market, quality, safety, and scientific substantiation are fundamental.
